We're Hiring! Looking for a Grant Writing Consultant

Taylor Management Group is looking for a part-time grant writing consultant who can help support our nonprofit clients across multiple projects. Work can be done remotely. Role is a contract position with flexible hours available.
Reporting to Principal, the Grant Writer/ Consultant is responsible for developing, writing and submitting grant proposals and grant reports to foundations and other grant-making organizations in support of a number of nonprofit clients, and working collaboratively with clients. The Grant Writer's role includes conducting prospect research, grant writing, reporting and project management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in non-profit grant writing

  • High level of computer literacy

  • Experience writing Federal, State, City and/ OR private/ corporate foundation grants

  • Experience in non-profit direct services and/or program coordination is highly desirable

  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to follow directions. Writing samples are required to be submitted with this application via PDF.

  • Ability to craft funding proposals in a clear, concise and compelling manner.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly-organized.

  • Experience using online databases and other sources to locate biographical, financial, and philanthropic information.

  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.

  • Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work efficiently.

  • Manage multiple short-term projects.

  • Write and monitor private foundation, corporate, and government (city, state, and federal) grants.

  • Attend online or phone meetings, conferences, and trainings as required.

  • And such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
